New webinar series on tomorrow’s sustainable technologies – next webinar on 14 December

  • The universities in Turku have launched a joint webinar series focusing on technology and sustainable development.
  • Aboa Tech Talks will highlight new technologies and innovative technological research that can offer solutions to the complex global challenges of our time.

“Research and innovation in areas such as clean energy, sustainable chemical engineering, renewable materials, bio economy and circular economy are absolutely essential if we are to move towards a more climate-friendly, sustainable future. These are issues we want to highlight in Aboa Tech Talks”, says Johan Bobacka, Professor of Analytical Chemistry at Åbo Akademi University.

The next Aboa Tech Talks will take place on 14 December 2021 at 9.30-11.30 am. The topic is solar driven technologies and how researchers aim to address the major global sustainability challenges of our modern society.

The webinar is free of charge and open to anyone interested, including representatives from industry, government, the third sector, researchers and students. The webinar will be held in English.
